The Disney Premier Passport Annual Pass gives the pass holder no blockout dates at both Disney World parks (all 4 plus water parks, EPN and Disney Oak Trails Golf Course) AND Disneyland (Disneyland and California Adventure). Are the Disney Annual Passes worth the price?

Now that you are well informed on the price and a mini description of all the DIsney World Annual Passes that Disney offers, the question is are they really worth it?

It all depends on how many times you want to visit the parks this year?

One Day Disney theme park ticket no park hopper will cost $109 for Florida and non-residents. So if you’re only going for one day this year, the annual pass isn’t worth it. If you add park hopper to that one day ticket that comes out to $139 for Florida residents and $169 for non residents. An annual pass still isn’t worth it for 1 theme park day with or without park hopper.

Disney is also offering Florida Resident 3 or 4 day tickets. The basic Discover Disney tickets gets you one park out of the 4 theme parks per day. These tickets are starting at $175 for 3 day, $195 for 4 days. If you add the hopper to the tickets you’re looking at $207.50 for 3 days and $232.50 for 4 days. Disney has another option, Discover DIsney Park Hopper Plus which includes water parks are 3 days for $232.50 and 4 days for $257.50. These are an amazing deal.

Side Note: My family recently purchased these tickets. We split them up to use in two different trips. We had a blast. We totally loved it. We went to each theme park.

If you’re planning a Disney World vacation or several vacations that will last more than 3 or 4 days and you’re NOT a Florida resident, then Annual pass is the way to go. You pay the down payment and the monthly payments don’t seem so bad. Or if you want to just pay it in full, you can do that as well. The annual pass is definitely worth it for you.

If you’re a Florida resident who plans to visit Disney World more 3 or 4 days that’s allotted in the Discover Disney passes then the annual passes are worth it for you. You’ll save tons of money on tickets.

Annual passes are worth the price if you visit Disney enough. The annual passes gives you a little piece of freedom. It almost burns a hole on your pocket. Just knowing its there, you imagine you can hop in your car and head to Disney whenever you want. You can even take a random day trip, no hotel, no fuss. Just you, your ticket, and Disney.

Thanks for sticking with this long post. If you’ve enjoyed it leave me a comment, a life or a share.

Hope you have a magical day.

  1. This is something I’ve always wondered. So far I’ve only done one Disney trip a year so I’m not sure that it’s worth it to me, but I think I’ll have to invest if I end up doing two trips in a year.
