Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort

Start making your holiday plans as Universal Orlando just released they will be holding their Holiday celebration November 16, 2019 – January 5, 2020.

Today, April 23, 2019, just a short few hours ago, Universal Studios sent their pass holders an email announcing their Holiday plans for the end of the year celebration. I’m so excited! Universal has plans for celebrating Halloween (with Horror Night festivities) through New Years Eve and everything in between.  Universal Orlando

Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter looks even more magical all decorated with festive lights and holiday cheer. Oh and the castle.

The castle in the promo look like a winter wonderland!

Oh oh oh! And the smaller version of the Macy’s Day Parade is back again this year. How exciting to be there live and not watch it from a screen. Hopefully

it’s cold when we go. To really feel like we’re in New York!

The Grinchmas is back. I’m not a huge fan of the Grinch but so many people are. That’s exciting for them. There will also be Grinch and Friends Character breakfasts which is fun for the family.

All the Universal Hotels are going to be fully decked with all sorts of Holiday funness (inside and out).

I’m a new passholder and I’ve never done the holidays at Universal. Well, unless you count going to Halloween Horror Nights two years in a row like over 5 years ago? That doesn’t count. This sounds really excited and I’m so stoked to experience it this year for the first time.

Side note: Please be advised the holiday season is an extremely busy time of year for the theme parks. Keep in mind the parks will be packed with people. If you want a less crazy time go early on in the holiday season or after New Years eve. You can still have fun during the holidays just pack loads of patience.
