Harry Potter | Hufflepuff | Living life as a Hufflepuff

Hi! I’m Mel and I’m a proud Hufflepuff. I’m a proud Hufflepuff. I am king, caring, determine, loyal, hardworking, open-minded, just, dependable, dedicated, patient, fair, genuine, compassionate and practical (for the most part).

I really enjoy getting high fives when I wear my Hufflepuff shirt. Lots of Hufflepuff love irl.

I love their backstory. Hufflepuffs were originally the children who weren’t sorted in the other houses (Gryffindor, Ravenclaw or Slytherin). We are the outcasts or the uncategorized. And I’m totally ok with that.

Most everyone wants to be a Gryffindor or Slytheron as they played bigger roles in the Harry Potter movies. However, now with Fantastic Beasts movies out, where the main character, Newt, is a Hufflepuff, Hufflepuffs are being more popularized.

So I’m a Hufflepuff and my boyfriend is a Slytherin. Right?! We were told once in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando that Slytherins and Hufflepuffs make great romantic partners. Something about Huffles mellowing out Slytherins and Slytherins sticking up for their Hufflepuffs. This person, also told us they are the greatest pairing out of Hogswart. They are the most different. Opposites attract they say. I love being with a Slytherin. He’s never a Slytherin to me, ever. And when I sense his Slytherin-ness coming out I try to tame it. It works. He teaches me to defend myself. He taught me where to punch someone to knock them out the other day. Useful.

Hope you’ve enjoyed my short post about loving being a Hufflepuff.

Happy puffling,

Mel

ps – can you count how many times I used the world Hufflepuff in this post? Happy counting.
