Headspace is the App that you didn’t know you needed for your sanity, for a better mental health and stability.
Surely you’ve heard of meditation before. Have you tried it? I had before I started using this app. I struggled while meditating. I couldn’t clear my mind. And if I did, it was difficult to stay clear. I would get a wayward thought pop in not 30 seconds into a session. It was annoying. So much so I gave up on the idea. Until I saw Hannah Hart (youtube.com/harto) recommend the app tin a video and I tried the app because I think she’s amazing and I needed something to help me.

And these mediation sessions, that last 10, 15 or 20 minutes (your choice) are guided so if you are distracted you have someone gently bring you back to clearing your mind and concentrating on your breathing. It’s really lovely.
Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.
Ideally, I like to meditation first thing in the morning, after I’ve used the restroom. If I don’t go then I spent that session squirming because I’ve gotta pee so bad. And I like to do a session at night before I go to sleep.
Someone once told me “if you don’t think you’re dead so it is impossible to meditate”. First of all, I completely ignored this person because I wasn’t to get into it with them. Second, I find when I meditate, I feel clearer and less cluttered afterwards. I can align my thoughts and my bearings.
If you’d like to check out this app, you can for free. Headspace offers a 30 day introduction to meditating. Which is just about enough time to get used to the idea, practice and start developing a method to this ancient form of liberating your thoughts.
