I received this book as an ARC.

It has been such a long time since I have read a book that I actually prolonged because I didn’t want the story to end. This was one hell of an awesome book! I love a book with a lot of dialogue between the main characters and this gave me just what I needed! It made me mad happy! 🙂

We don’t have a tradition love story. Yes- boy meets girl and girl likes boy and they make boy/girl lovin’. However, this couple- Presley and Aaron are in the present. We know they have a past. And Presley had a baby, Wyatt. dum dummm DUUUUMMMMMMM.

So here’s the deal: Presley, our heroine had a rough past. Literally. She’s been heartbroken in the past by Aaron before and doesn’t want to relive the heartbreak. She moves away and then comes back into town 2 year later with a baby. She hasn’t seen Aaron for two years. Once they reunite its infatuation at first site. He wants back into her life and she wants nothing to do with him. Well she DOES but she doesn’t want to relive her mistakes again.

Of course with every good romance there is a love triangle. Well- Riley is a good guy who is infatuated with the new Presley. What I sensed is that this Riley really did like her and really wanted to have Riley in his life, not just in his bed. Which was nice. However, something is missing with Pres and Riri.

So back to my review. This is a really good story with a strong kick ass main female character that you can’t help but fall in love with. And our main male lead, Aaron boy and a sweetheart that I want to be a real person and be his best friend! I am such a dork but its true.

Another thing that I love about this book is that the characters have belieable situations. Well minus the turkey baster. I don’t think that would happen. Yea- you’ve gotta read it to know what I’m talking about. That had me stressing the fuck out!

I can’t NOT give a book that made me sweat, cry, get pissed and swoon a very hot hot hot score of 10/10!

So holy shit- I didn’t do my research appropriately before writing this review. While searching for a pic of the cover, I noticed this was the 6th book of a series call Whiskey Creek! What? MIND BLOWN!

Well I’m gonna have to cut this review short to start downloading 1-5 of Whiskey Creek series!
